I guess I'm first to do post here? Just wanted to say hi to everyone.

I live in Boulder, Colorado and have been a Rivian owner for over three years (I love Rivian). I have spent extensive time on bikes of all sorts (road, mountain bike, gravel, dirt jump, fat bikes and motorcycles), but this will be my first ebike. I ordered the all-terrain version. I don't plan on hardcore trail riding with it, but I've fallen in love with fly fishing in remote locations and plan to access some forest service roads to shorten the hike. Mostly, I plan to scoot around Boulder which has a surplus of cars and a shortage of parking spots.

I'd love to hear other people's plans for their bike. Cheers!

Thanks for joining and making your first post! We're a small crowd here for now, and we hope more members will start posting so we can grow the forums and build a real community.

I’m in Boulder County, and received and assembled my TM-B today - so far, so good. I used to commute into Boulder on a Specialized e-bike, but not so such after covid and now, retirement. I’ll use the new toy to run errands into Niwot and Longmont, breweries, etc. I got very used to a handlebar mounted rear view mirror, so I’m going to look for one for the TM-B.

Cool. Maybe we can arrange a ride together once I get my bike. Please share your initial impressions after you get your bike up and running.

Hey, everyone,

Rivian R1T owner in San Antonio (near N. side urban core). I moved from full suspension 26" MTB to 29" hard tail over the years, but will use the TM-B for < 3 mile radius errands/shopping (probably over 90% of my driving) as well as non-technical trail riding. I don't put a lot of miles on the truck, anyway, but this should reduce those even more. I was going to replace the road tires with combination tires (smoother center for increased range and reduced road noise, but some knobby bits on the sides for grip in the curves) after the first set wear out. Our riding season is basically year-round except for the hottest months in the afternoons.

I think it will be a fun camping addition as a run around to see more of a park or more trails. I may even try some overland routes in the SW Colorado/N. NM. I was inspired by Long Way Up (also where I learned about Rivian) back in 2020, and finished a solo, off-road motorcycle ride up the Continental Divide from Mexico to Canada. I'd LOVE to recreate that on the TM-B, but thought that sounds even crazier. (Note: if anyone from ALSO is reading this, I'm crazy enough to try it, and it might be fun to try).

Wish I had been in the know sooner for that launch edition, but I'll probably get my bike (performance, solo in amethyst, order date 10/26/2026) sometime before next Summer.
