What is the time frame between reservation and delivery??

Any update on this? I received an invite to order, but I want the standard range, so I would like to know if there will be a delay as they prioritize launch and when I can expect the starting delivery for that variant.

I know they just started sending out invite to orders today. Though the wording is confusing. It says reservation and then order, but it seems you can turn your reservation into a preorder so you own the full price of the bike at checkout. It looks like they'll start deliveries on the launch from sep-oct and it has the standard as early 2027.I'm an early reservation holder and I haven't received my bike yet, so there isn't any information available. All we know at the moment is that deliveries should start soon. The definition of soon is highly variable.

I want to start by thanking you (and everyone else) for your patience. I agree that we haven’t communicated as frequently or transparently as we should have.
What’s most important to all of us at ALSO is building and delivering a best-in-the-world product. In this case, that means the highest performance electric bicycle in the world with features you'd only ever expect from a software-defined EV. It also means a more reliable product than this category has ever seen. And while we knew going into our product development that this was going to be a big job, it has brought some challenges we didn’t expect along the way.
I want to share a few examples for context. These are things that our team has spent nights and weekends working on, but have ultimately resulted in delays to our originally intended shipping timeline.
As we mentioned in a previous update, we've faced significant supply chain challenges on materials that are in high demand thanks to the worldwide AI boom. Specifically, we've been challenged on raw PCB materials and certain IC components. Chasing supply of our original design’s material hasn’t been enough. In some cases, our team has had to source and requalify new materials, which requires new engineering and testing work.
Another challenge we've faced involves the unique nature of the TM-B's battery. Our battery packs such a punch, in terms of both performance and features, that existing battery standards don't fully cover it. As many of you know, there are multiple battery standards that apply even within the US, let alone globally, to these sorts of products and capabilities. This has led ALSO to deeply engage with standards bodies, certification labs, cell manufacturers, and more, in order to work through novel certification questions our product’s capability has raised—specifically, the high capacity nature of our battery, paired with its 240W PD capability and sophisticated battery management, is the first-of-its-kind in this category. As a result we’ve been collaborating on defining a new set of performance standards for an entirely new type of product and that has taken more time than we anticipated.
Lastly, this product is packed with EV-grade technology and we’ve taken a highly considered approach to building and scaling key elements like our DreamRide drive system. In a very compact package, DreamRide includes two motors, an integrated inverter, and a one-of-a-kind Top Frame latch. This level of integration and performance density exceeds almost any EV on the market today and means development and production requires extreme care and precision. That wasn’t unexpected, but we've been deliberate about our ramp to ensure high quality as we begin our journey of scaling the TM-B.
With any complex and technology-laden product, we have a choice. As we ramp production we can relax standards against an original timeline or we can hold to a high standard and face potential delays. We believe our decision to hold that standard was, and is, the right one. And, at the same time, we agree that we should have been more communicative along the way.
At the end of the day, the entire team at ALSO has been working tirelessly to deliver the best-in-the-world product experience we've promised you. We're sincerely sorry it has taken longer than we, or you, anticipated. The specifics as to why haven't come early or often enough, but we’re committed to improving that as we move forward.
We cannot wait to get you your TM-Bs and we truly believe they will be worth the wait.

Update: Launch Edition Production From Our Director of Product
To all of our TM-B Launch Edition Customers,I want to start by thanking you (and everyone else) for your patience. I agree that we haven’t communicated as frequently or transparently as we should have.

Honestly, I put in the reservation because they said if you did by a certain time, you would get the credit, but I wasn't planning to actually buy until after I got my R2, another major purchase. Whelp, jokes on me as it has to be solidified by October. Stupid Borealis Coastal Cloud taking forever to leave the line. Still planning to get the bike, just want to confirm a bigger purchase first.I paid for my bike a several months ago, so I'm just waiting for delivery. I am getting a free helmet and a credit in the gear store to assuage my impatience.
I received the same email. My order was placed Nov 5 ,2025 for all terain launch edition.
Also claimed a month ago that bikes were shiping to US wherehouse so it would appear they have been lieing about shipping, as they still have not started shipping to US ! The email claims bikes will ship next week to US ! They also claimed bike would start shipping "next week" to customers, that was a month ago ! No one has received there bike yet.
They have been using the excuse that they had supply issues. That must of been resolved a month ago, since they suppsedly have been shipping the bikes. If they have been shipping,then they must have all the parts.
I am loosing faith in this company as they seam to be deliberately missleading customers and hidding the real problem that the bike is not Ul certified. I suspect that is the real reason that bikes have not shipped!

I just received email (Sept. 22, 2026) from Also ,"Great News" the "next wave" tmb ebikes are on the way to US wherehouse.
This would be great news but it is essentially the same thing they said over a month ago ! If this is the "next wave", what happened to the first wave, the bikes that would ship next week. Are they joking or trying to test our patients ? They have been saying for the last two months that bikes are shipping.
What do others think is really going on ?

I ask Also support a few simple questions. How many launch edition bikes or on order, where in line is my order and how many bikes are in "wave" shiped.
I got a ridiculous answer from them ! They claim they don't have that information ! This is obviously nonsence since they would have list of all ebike orders. They would need this information in order to estimate when they can send the new standard bike orders out that they have started getting paid for. It looks like they are just taking paid orders so they can pull in as much money before declaring bankruptcy (I hope not), or just dragging delivery out without comiting to building bikes.
What is a "wave" of bikes ? Why can't they jest say how many bike orders they have and how many can be processed each week , At least for the launch edition ?

They sent the same email to everybody, but some people may have received another email with more information on when they would receive delivery, but I wasn't one of them.
The operative word is that you will receive your bike "Soon" and the timing will remain "Soon" until it is very close to delivery.

October in now past us and Also have failed on three promises!
They failrd to deliver all LE bikes in October.
They failed to get LE delivery emails out.
They failed to let me know if something changed.
It will be interesting to here what they say with there next weekly update.
